I have been thinking a lot about change and transformation, gradually finding the courage to embrace the changes required for my evolution as a human. Also, I have been thinking a lot about the magic of being surrounded by genuine people while healing from old traumas without birthing new ones as a coping mechanisms. Here are 33 lessons I have learnt in 33 years:-

- Life is beautiful and everyone has the freedom to create the life of their choice.
- Everything comes with its own challenge, it all depends on the problem that one is willing to solve.
- Solitude is essential for appreciation of one’s company and helping one evolve to a better individual.
- Being vulnerable is powerful, it makes certain fears loose foothold, it allows one acknowledge the things that you once enjoyed and now that you realise it doesn’t align with your growth, you let it go!
- To be minimalist about the things you care about, only a few thing matters to me right now in the most simplest form.
- Investing requires patience, a lot of it!
- Nothing is ever too good to be true and to never allow the trauma of the past ruin something so beautiful.
- Bloodline does not always equate to family
- The process is as important as the destination, the process is where the excitement lies, reaching the goal itself can be boring.
- When people show you who they are, believe them the first time, it is exactly who they are.
- Never to take things personally, a vast amount of people are just ignorant, educate them if you can and for the ones that are wilfully ignorant avoid them!
- The end of a friendship is not such a big deal, people evolve.
- Setting your boundaries to the point that it is never up for negotiation, people that respect it will stay and the ones that have a hard time accepting it will leave.
- Happiness and success are on different paths and should be pursued separately.
- The challenging and stressful times of ones life are the most motivating and formative.
- You are not obligated to be nice to anyone but we can all do with more kindness and empathy.
- Relationship sometimes don’t end due to lack of love but lack of trust, what is a cartel without cocaine.
- Pride and ego distorts the mind, encourage selfish decisions, prevent us from communicating with empathy and reflecting on our flaws. Being humble, kind and gracious is where the work lies.
- I would fall in love with my freckles.
- There is a grey line between contentment and complacency.
- Seeing the positive in every situation makes life easier.
- Things could appear difficult but that does not mean it’s unattainable.
- Live your truth and never break the promise you make to yourself.
- Love is such a beautiful thing and no heartbreak will stop me from pursuing it over and over.
- Outgrowing people who decide not to grow is totally fine.
- The stories we tell ourselves will always define us.
- Gratitude is a powerful tool.
- Finding and fulfilling your purpose is satisfying
- Be more in-tune with who you are and never apologise for it.
- It’s always better to let things be.
- Sacrifices and compromise are two different things.
